Paula Schilliger is an architect and educator, working in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

After completing her MSc in Architecture at ETH Zurich in 2015, she moved to London to join Caruso St John Architects, where she spent eight years as Architect and Associate and led projects from concept to construction.

Since 2024, she has focused on independent work, including residential projects in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as competition entries. In 2025, she founded Paula Schilliger Studio Ltd – a practice guided by a commitment to sustainability, careful detailing, and the creative use of existing structures.

Beyond practice, Paula is commited to architectural education. Since 2022, she has been teaching at The University of Nottingham, first in the undergraduate course, and more recently in the MArch course and the MArch Collaborative Practice Research course. She also co-teaches a Media Studies course at the Architectural Association in London with Shaan Patel. The dialogue between academia and practice continues to be a central source of inspiration and innovation in her work.
